A romantic tale with interesting twists, the story begins with a flashback on the bed, this is the first night of Harikrishnan (Vineeth) and Meera (Meera Jasmine) who recall the time when their love affair bloomed and how they ended up getting married. The story goes that Meera resides in a rather remote hill side village but then she is working in the city. She comes across a matrimonial ad in the internet and responds to it out of curiosity. This is from Hari who happens to be a dancer with an acclaimed troupe that is run by the seductive and gracious Mohini (Chitra Iyer). Soon, the communication between them clicks and they end up chatting often and also have video chats from time to time. In no time, their chemistry works and both Hari and Meera begin to express their feelings for each other. The time comes when they actually decide to meet up and everything is fixed. Meera turns up at the said place but then she ends up disappointed as Hari fails to turn up. She thinks that Hari has ditched her and is dejected over this, however the truth is Hari has got a dark past and he doesn't want to be discreet about it with Meera. Now both have reached a stalemate situation and one is not sure what to do and the other thinks that there is nothing left to do. What is that past? How did the duo get back and got married? All this forms the rest of the story.
Presentation:
The director has come out with some real quality thoughts on the plot and the presentation and narration have been quite impressive. The real life of the film is the cinematography that captured the moments brilliantly and the music was equally catchy given the dance backdrop in the story. Editing was crisp, dialogues were okay but the script was well written. Even the screenplay was handled effectively and the locations were mesmerizing. Vineeth had this as a cake walk since his character had dance and Meera's performance needs no description, she was perfect. The real show stealer was Chitra who was often known as the singer and one would be amazed to see such an accomplished actor inside her. Lalu Alex as her husband did his job very well, Manoj K Jayan was elegant, Biju Menon was upto the mark and Cochin Haneefa was his regular hilarious self. The others also contributed well to the film.
Conclusion:
Essaying the complicated dimension of human relationships is a very challenging task and secondly, bringing the story from a flashback mode is another tough task. Both these have been done very well and while the first half was more on the lighter side with the romance and the initial butterflies, it is the startling truth that hits the audience unaware and takes the film to a serious emotional turn during the second half leading to a fulfilling climax. Good technical values and perfect performances makes up for a completely satisfying treat. This film has stuff.http://i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq252/lithamburan/73eqts4.png
