Cast
• The hottest star amongst the younger lot, Vijay is the hero. He has matured from being the cocky, college-goer to an understanding friend and a die-hard romantic. While his recent films like Gilli, Tiruppachi, Madura etc. show his prowess as the guy with the iron muscle, we still long to see the helpless lover in Kadhalukku Mariyadhai.
• Trisha is the heroine. While her Lesa, lesa debut was much appreciated, she went the whole hog for glamour with Sami and Gilli. So much so that her glamour image has led her to be the top star in Telugu.
•Prakashraj, Vivek, Manivanna, Vijayakumar, Nasser, Devan and Sita form the heavyweight supporting cast. The rising star of Kannada and Telugu Saikumar is the villain.

• Vidyasagar scored fast-paced songs for Gilli and Madura. We are sure he will come up with something different especially after the overwhelming influence of soulful melody in Chandramukhi.
