Sahaya Hastham (Helping Hand) to Machattu Vasanthi

A music related community called "Sangeetham Jeevamrutham" has started a project to help the old time singer Smt. Machatt Vasanthi (Olavum Theeravum fame) who is now financially weak and need a surgeory imediately. Intro…
As you all must be aware now, things are moving in a better pace than we all expected. I still recall those early days when this idea was being conceived by Basheer bhai and was sharing his thoughts with our friend Hariji and me. Basheer bhai just wanted to make use of the community for some good causes because he strongly felt that all those who love music would essentially have an aspect of goodness within them It is certainly very gratifying to see that things are shaping for good and I am pretty sure that this small gesture by our not so big community will set new trends in the sector of “Organised Help”, thus paving way for many more revolutionary Help campaigns in the coming times…
Action plan…
It all happened in a jiffy! Even before we could think of plans to put our ideas into action, another member Jayasree while pledging her unity with the mission also suggested the name of Smt. Machattu Vasanthi who actually needs help at this point of time in her life. It was unanimously decided that we will kick start our Sahaya Hastham project by helping Smt. Machattu Vasanthi. We had rounds and rounds of discussions among members about the modalities of putting our pet project into action and finally have put in place the operational flow chart to successfully execute the project.
Head - Operations:
One of our members Mr. Nahas who is from Kodungallor (Thrissur) in Kerala and working in Kuwait, volunteered to work for this project while on leave in kerala. Mr. Nahas has set himself an enviable model by volunteering to work for charity rather than enjoy his once -in - two year’s leave. I use this space to once again thank Mr. Nahas and wish him success.
Mr. Nahas will be available at the following address from 1st May, 08.

Mr. Nahas will update the community on a daily basis in this forum about the details of payments received by him.
Also, Mr. Nahas will get photos of the formal handing over ceremony done and post them in the community.

It is unavoidable that in spite of our best efforts we may have flawed somewhere or may be we could have carried out this exercise in a better way. While we request to bear with us for our shortcomings we earnestly appeal to all and sundry to kindly write to us your opinions and suggestions so as to evaluate and implement them during our future projects.
