2006-06-18 : Of late, Nayanthara and Simbu were seen partying together in clubs and discos, which led to the suspicion that they were an item. Moreover, they didn’t try to hide their feelings for each other in public.
A week ago, Nayanthara went to Australia and stayed there for ten days, disrupting the dates that she had allotted to a Tamil producer. She didn’t have any satisfactory explanation for ‘running away’ like that without informing anyone but rumor has it that Simbu was also with her in Australia, *violation*violation*violationhough they arrived there separately. This story lured the gossip writer’s into strengthening their belief that Nayanthara and Simbu got married in secrecy and went off to Australia for their honeymoon!
Now, everyone knows that both Nayanthara and Simbu will go any length for the publicity of their film; their lip biting hoardings has really proved that, but the movie was delayed and the stir has long since died down. ‘Vallavan’ is not exactly in the movie-goers hot list of ‘films-to-watch’, this must have tempted Simbu into some out-of-the-box thinking and he came up with this marriage story, after all it is his movie as director. Nayanthara, as you all know would do anything to conjure curiosity for her film.
When being asked if there is any truth in this story, both of them replied positively. Simbu said that he has many girl friends but his feeling for her is more than that for a friend and he is not sure if that can be called as love and if their relationship won’t end up in love then they might as well go their different ways. He also added that even if they are in love their parents won’t disapprove of it, so there is no question of secret marriage. Nayanthara also agreed with this statement, in fact, she repeated all of Simbu’s statements
