Lal fans are paranoid - just trying to show Mammootty film a FLOP! Guess what mammotty's film TG fisrt shwo started at 6.30 am in TIRUR ( crowds wee waiting sinec 3.00 a in the morning!!!!)
And for BT the fisrt show in Kerala started at 5.30 am in TIRUR's first theatre and then in teh second theatre at 6.30 am!! Mammootty as of today is teh biggets crowd puller! In fact nobody in Malayalm industry has managed 2 pull of 2 mega hits with each film released within a span of 2 weeks.
TG has reccovered its cost in 3 weeks with a "WHOPPING" distributor share of 2.32 crores! thsi is more than what RT earned in 3 weeks.
BT has collected nearly 15 lks in TVM , EKM, CAICUT and TIRUR in teh fisrt week with a total gross of 3.15 crores! Ar record in the industry! And even in lal stronghold of TVM, the first week collection 14.8 lkhs is a city record.
These are not figures made up by me but they are trade facts. mammootty fans don't have to resort to cheap tactics like Lal fans to portray a film as a HIT!
The much publicoized and talked about film Tanmatra has collected only in TVM! and it was "MADE TO RUN" for 140 days in TVM only for reasons best known only to the producer (CENTURY -a close friend of Lal)and theatre owner. The true fact is that this film has not collected any where near what "KAZCHA" managed all over Kerala!! TM was a wadshout in malabar area which has maximun theatres in Kerala and accounts for 40% of the state collections!

I also read this view in Music inida online com. The very fact that this is a mere propaganda can be judged from following facts.

The cost of the film has not ye been disclosed by the producer(why we don't know??)Industry experts say the film cost around 1.5 crores.
If the film has 3 times the production cost that means it has got a distributor share of nearly 4.5 crores! Means a Gross collection of nearly 11 crores!!
C'mon even NARAN did not get so much in 100 days! And then you expect Tanmatra which started very badly and which collected only in TVM ( 55 lkhs)because it was ran for 140 days to Gross so much!. In EKM the collection in 75 days was only 40 lkhs. In rest of stations the collections were absolutely poor!
The film is a hit , no doubt. this was mainly due to active support from Film magazines and TV media adn soem crowd were pulled in through Reliance and Manorama free tickets to the show! But to believe that it has collected 3 times its production cost already is something out of this world!I know the industry and can challange Century films on this!!
