It has now been confirmed that Prithviraj has walked out of the film with Jayaram in the lead.
A new film was recently announced with Prithviraj and Jayaram in the lead. The film was going to be their first together. But, due to the insistence of Jayaram, Prithviraj was removed and instead, Arun has been brought in.


In case you didn't know who Arun was- he was one of the four boys of '4 The People'.


The film stars Nayantara as the heroine. This is her second film with Jayaram. Nayantara's very first film, 'Manasinakkarae' was with Jayaram.


Though it is being made to look as if Prithviraj had walked out of the film, insiders claim that he was pressurized to quit.


The intensity of the hatred sowed by the KFC- AMMA rivalry that is till continuing amongst the stars has shocked many. This is just another example of it.

I heard Prithvi tried for a conversation with the great actor mohan lal.. but he ignored him.. THis issss bulll shitt... All malayalam super stars are assholess... except Mammootty... he is decent ... he dont like these kind of issuess...

Hi Friends, we need to do something about it. See each one of us feel so cut up with this repulsive attitude of the caucus by the vested interests (who can be called as superstar mafia) to put down that young, charming and talented actor, Prithwi Raj. Are these guys planning to manipulate and monopolise the affairs of mallu-movies in such a way that we the viewers will be forever destined to watch the likes of Mohan Lal, Mammookka or Suresh Gopis, in their late fourties, strutting their stuff as the "college kumarans"....!!! What a shame that these people have so craftly held us to ransom!! Mallu cine-goers, please awake, we have nothing to lose but the feudal influence of the vested interests, who are out to crush the upcoming talents....Prithwi Raj, stand up to this bloody nonsense and fight on....victory goes to the real talents, you surely are ONE !

this is too much...prithvi has been removed from shafi - thomanum makalum,amrutham,perumazhakalam,renjith movie,priyandanan movie etc !!!There are pre planned agenda is going on to make Prithvi out from malayalam film Industry.Dont alow this friends !!!

The factional hatred that exists amidst film personalities in Kerala is very much indirectly proportional to the size of the whole Malayalam cine industry!
The present day scenario of the Malayalam cine industry baffles observers. So intense is the hatred in the industry. Instances of film stars refusing to work with each other are so high that it takes time to get used to the fact that even larger film industries don't have so much of factionalism. Director Priyanandan's new film 'Adhu Mandhaarapoovalla' is the best example of this. When the director had announced the film first, it was supposed to star Dileep and Kavya Madhavan. But, due to some unforeseen developments, Dileep had walked out. Instead, Arun of '4 The People' was brought in.
Suddenly Arun was removed and Prithviraj was brought in. As soon as Prithviraj stepped in, Kavya Madhavan began having second thoughts about doing the film and was very reluctant about doing it. Lot of people in the film industry believe that a well known hero was behind this sudden change-of-mind.
This was probably too much for the director to take. He made it clear that if Kavya was not going to work in the film, he wouldn't make it at all!
Everything had been resolved and finally the film was launched with Kavya and Prithviraj as the official heroine and hero. From the way things look, don't be surprised if violent changes happen in the list of star cast of the film.
