The film is a super hit and has taken a share of over Rs 2 crore from releasing stations in 17 days, with Ernakulam Shenoys netting Rs 21 the highest in Kerala. It is Pritviraj�s biggest hit and the film that became profitable from Kerala theatricals in record 17 days.
Meanwhile Puthiya Mugham, has given Prithvi a new action hero image, and is now considered by the trade as the inheritor to M & M�s throne which they were fiercely guarding for the last 20 years.
