Vishu films bomb!

All Vishu releases have collapsed at the Kerala box-office! Even Mohanlal’s Chandrolsavam did not take a decent opening and is said to be a flop. The other two releases Kochi Rajavu and Alice In Wonderland have also been written off by the trade.
What went wrong? Sify.com understands that in spite of having big stars like Mohanlal, Dileep and Jayaram these films failed to impress due to lack of content and were pale rehashes of earlier hits. The audience felt cheated and thought that they were taken for royal ride by the stars. The rumour is that SMS messages were sent out pointing out the drawbacks of a particular film which they felt should be avoided by the audience.
